Senior Integration Engineer (AI)

Location: Fridley, Minnesota, United States; onsite four days per week at the hirify.global facility in Rice Creek, Minnesota. Requires 25% travel.

Salary: $124,800–$187,200 per year in U.S. locations, excluding Puerto Rico and specific California locations.

What you will do

• Onboard manufacturing machines, vision systems, and processes into the Analytics for Manufacturing Imaging platform.
• Configure data collection infrastructure, image acquisition workflows, metadata pipelines, and connectivity services.
• Integrate industrial cameras, PLCs, MES platforms, historians, databases, and manufacturing equipment.
• Configure Ignition gateways, tags, data models, scripts, and visualization components.
• Develop reusable integration patterns, deployment templates, reference architectures, and automation approaches.
• Support commissioning, validation, troubleshooting, documentation, and training across multiple manufacturing sites.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree.
• At least 2 years of experience deploying solutions across multiple manufacturing sites or operational environments.
• At least 2 years collecting operational, process, machine-state, and image-based data from manufacturing assets.
• At least 1 year connecting operational technology systems to enterprise software platforms and data infrastructures.
• Experience with manufacturing systems, industrial automation, machine vision, or operational technology connectivity.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is offered only for Principal-level roles and above.

Nice to have

• Experience with OPC-UA, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet, Ignition, MES, SCADA, historians, ERP, or manufacturing analytics platforms.
• Experience with industrial networking, edge architectures, IoT platforms, image acquisition, and vision-system deployment.
• Experience working with OEM suppliers, controls engineers, automation engineers, and manufacturing personnel.
• Experience creating reusable deployment methodologies, integration templates, implementation guides, and support documentation.
