Senior Software Engineer (Blockchain)

What you will do

• Own and improve a Java data-ingest service for enriched transfer generation and aggregations.
• Design and tune PostgreSQL transaction batching, indexing, replication, and performance strategies.
• Build and maintain scalable AWS API services handling thousands of requests per second.
• Evaluate next-generation technologies through proof-of-concepts, latency benchmarking, architecture decision records, and production delivery.
• Automate network onboarding and develop AI-assisted operational workflows, including incident triage, self-healing pipelines, and intelligent alerting.
• Debug production issues across microservices, define service-level objectives, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of production PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, query optimization, partitioning, replication, and performance tuning for write-heavy systems.
• 8+ years building Java Spring Boot services with REST APIs, JDBC, connection pooling, and JVM performance profiling.
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming systems, including consumer groups, offset management, and partition-lag debugging.
• Experience operating distributed systems on AWS, including microservices, multi-silo deployments, and Terraform.
• Strong cross-system debugging skills using metrics, logs, tracing, and code-level investigation.
• Comfort with AI-assisted development, agentic engineering, and large-scale data systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes operations, StatefulSets, Helm releases, and stateful workloads.
• Experience with database migrations and storage-system cutovers.
• Familiarity with Flink, Spark, or lakehouse formats such as Delta Lake, Iceberg, or Parquet.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions through RFCs and ADRs.
• Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
