Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Morton, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Required travel is up to 10% domestically and internationally. No relocation assistance or US work sponsorship is offered.

Salary: $147,760–$221,640 per year.

What you will do

• Lead strategy and operational direction for five direct reports and approximately 60 production associates at an aftermarket parts distribution center.
• Manage inventory compliance, counting and audit programs, storage availability, replenishment, and storage system configuration projects.
• Drive claims reduction, quality performance, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement using lean and Built-In Quality tools.
• Oversee quality operations, production quality reporting, business continuity drills, internal audit activities, and CTPAT compliance.
• Prepare financial reporting packages, analyze results and spending, and support annual business planning for Morton and regional cost centers.
• Coordinate access approvals, purchasing-card reporting, maintenance and engineering compliance tracking, and cross-functional operational projects.

Requirements

• Analytical thinking skills, including root-cause analysis and development of corrective solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of performance management techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques.
• Experience in operations, logistics processes, or logistics distribution.
• Experience with SAP EWM and auditing compliance processes is preferred.
