Category Leader, MRO

Salary: $107,650–$166,650 per year, plus performance bonus or variable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Own strategy and sourcing execution for 3–4 MRO subcategories within a broader portfolio of approximately 8–10 subcategories.
• Develop supplier strategies, preferred supplier alignment, and commercial contracts.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives and negotiate terms that improve total cost of ownership.
• Build and optimize supplier partnerships while improving supplier performance and service levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and plant operations to deliver sustainable savings and operational improvements.
• Manage more than $30M in spend and influence $70M–$80M in sourcing activity across multiple plants.

Requirements

• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Ability to manage complex, large-scale sourcing portfolios in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with supplier strategy, contract development, commercial negotiations, and total cost of ownership.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and manufacturing plant operations.
