Facilities Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Long Beach or Torrance, California, United States. The role works in office and production-floor environments, with approximately 70% planning and documentation and 30% site observation, coordination, and inspection.

Salary: $120,020–$165,020 USD annually.

What you will do

• Develop annual and multi-year facility, maintenance, and equipment-reliability plans.
• Administer the CMMS, including asset records, work orders, preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, backlog reviews, and reporting.
• Coordinate equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, commissioning, documentation, and handoff to operations.
• Oversee maintenance employees, contractors, vendors, proposals, service scopes, schedules, and completion records.
• Monitor facility and equipment condition, reliability trends, budgets, critical spares, risks, and corrective actions.
• Partner with EHS, Quality, Engineering, Production, and process owners on safety, environmental, quality, emergency-response, and continuous-improvement programs.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls and be eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in business administration, facilities management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible facility, maintenance, or equipment-reliability experience; 7 years preferred.
• Experience planning work, administering a CMMS, coordinating contractors or projects, and supporting manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work across office and production-floor environments and perform facility and equipment inspections.
• Facility-management, project-management, safety, building-systems, forklift, or HVAC certification is preferred where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience in an ISO 14001, AS9100D, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949 accredited facility.
• Relevant facility-management, project-management, safety, building-systems, forklift, or HVAC certification.
