Fabrications Product Quality Auditor - 2nd Shift

Location: NC-Sanford-BCP 5016 Womack Road Plant, Sanford, North Carolina; onsite, 2nd shift

Starting pay: $21.82/hour, including an 8% shift premium. Summary pay range: $20.20–$25.25/hour.

What you will do

• Inspect fabrication structures and undercarriage components using standard work, checklists, gauges, templates, and other provided tools.
• Perform overall quality inspections at quality gates and during pre-delivery inspections.
• Inspect product welds against specifications provided by Engineering.
• Identify defects, take photographs, and record findings in the defect management system.
• Apply CPS principles, including 5S, continuous improvement idea reporting, waste elimination, and standard work.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools and check gauges.
• Ability to lift parts weighing up to 35 pounds individually.
• Ability to bend, reach, squat occasionally, stand at the workstation, use required PPE, and work in frequently changing temperatures.
• Must work onsite in Sanford, North Carolina, Monday–Friday from 2:15 PM to 10:15 PM; mandatory overtime is scheduled in advance.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hirify.global systems ATRS, PINPoint, and Geneo.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Previous quality, welding, or fabrication experience.
