Quality Control Inspector (Welding)

Location: Dallas, Texas, USA; onsite production-floor role. Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products against drawings and specifications.
• Perform mechanical, wiring, and welding-related quality inspections for the Low Voltage Switchgear Department.
• Verify and document unloaded material counts and conditions, reporting supplier discrepancies.
• Identify material and manufacturing faults through observation and testing.
• Complete inspection reports, logs, checklists, quality records, and corrective action requests.
• Maintain inspection equipment and communicate recommendations, remedies, and repair needs to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of quality inspection experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, particularly welding.
• Thorough understanding of welding products or processes and the ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive inspections, lift up to 35 pounds, and wear required PPE on the production floor.
