Senior Accountant (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Hybrid position based out of the Morristown, New Jersey office, United States

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Own monthly financial close activities, procedures, journal entries, and account reconciliations for the Intercept and hirify.global USA businesses.
• Create and enter payroll- and compensation-related journal entries and accruals.
• Manage fixed asset additions and depreciation processes.
• Assist with the preparation and review of detailed financial reporting.
• Support special projects and provide accounting guidance to business and Finance colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of combined public accounting and industry experience in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize with minimal instruction, operate across a matrix organization, and improve current processes.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based out of the Morristown, New Jersey office.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
