Senior Accountant (U.S. GAAP)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States. Hybrid arrangement with two remote days and three in-office days per week.

Salary: $63,200–$86,900 gross annual base salary.

What you will do

• Perform general accounting activities for U.S. entities under U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reviews, and variance analysis.
• Prepare U.S. government reports and support lease, fixed asset, expense, and cash receipt accounting.
• Execute SOX controls, maintain audit-ready documentation, investigate exceptions, and resolve accounting issues.
• Support internal and external audits and collaborate with U.S. and international stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements using Lean principles and support finance transformation, ERP, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an Accounting degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience; 5 or more years preferred.
• Experience in public accounting or the finance organization of a large multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general accounting, month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to collaborate with U.S. and international stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CPA license, active CPA candidacy, or a master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with SAP or multiple ERP environments.
• Experience using artificial intelligence tools and developing effective prompts.
• Experience working in a global organization.
