Instructional Designer/Digital Liaison (AI)

Location: College Station, Texas, United States; hybrid or remote work arrangement may be available.

Salary: $70,000 annually ($5,833.34 monthly minimum).

What you will do

• Lead and oversee course design and development projects for the Department of Landscape Architecture & Urban Planning.
• Design online modules and develop classroom, hybrid, online, blended, and web-enhanced courses.
• Administer and maintain online development courses, programs, and resources.
• Coordinate course materials with instructors, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists.
• Consult with and support faculty and staff throughout the instructional design process.
• Plan and deliver training on instructional strategies, pedagogy, and course design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of online course design principles, learning management systems, and instructional technologies.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to multitask, collaborate effectively, and present information clearly and concisely.
• Experience or knowledge involving instructional design, educational technology, curriculum development, accessibility, media production, artificial intelligence, large language models, systems and infrastructure, or software development.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in education, educational technology, instructional design, or a related field.
