Senior Learning Experience Designer (ILT/VILT)

Location: Remote from approved hirify.global operating countries: United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annualized for US-based locations. Country-specific pay ranges may apply outside the US.

What you will do

• Own client-facing learning experience design processes from discovery and requirements gathering through delivery.
• Design and develop instructor-led programs, including slides, hands-on labs, case studies, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, and learner workbooks.
• Create applied learning activities using workplace and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Midjourney, and NotebookLM.
• Project manage subject matter experts, instructors, learning designers, assessment specialists, vendors, and other development resources.
• Enable instructors with delivery guidance, tool setup instructions, troubleshooting support, and facilitation materials.
• Standardize reusable learning components and contribute to scalable productized learning programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum design, or a related field.
• Significant experience creating instructor-led learning content for enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace audiences.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, including Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, experiential learning, practice-based learning, and adult learning principles.
• Hands-on fluency with current AI tools and knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, machine learning, AI agents, ethical AI, and enterprise AI adoption.
• Experience translating complex concepts into structured, accessible, and engaging learning experiences with subject matter experts.
• Ability to flex the schedule for meetings across US, European, Middle Eastern, and Asian time zones.

Nice to have

• Technical proficiency in AI, data science, or coding, including Python, APIs, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with GitHub, virtual machines, cloud-based labs, sandbox environments, or technical learning environments.
• Experience designing AI training labs, coding exercises, model-building workshops, enterprise AI adoption programs, or role-based AI academies.
• Familiarity with AI-driven personalization, adaptive learning, and AI-supported learner practice.
