Wknd Coating Assistant - Night Shift

Location: Onsite manufacturing role; Friday–Sunday, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. shift. Employees must be at the machine ten minutes before the shift starts.

What you will do

• Set up and operate coating machines across the wet and dry ends to apply adhesives to release liners and substrates.
• Clean machines, prepare adhesives, solvents, additives, liners, and other raw materials, and stage materials for subsequent jobs.
• Use lift trucks, hoists, platform trucks, pumps, and other material-handling equipment while following safe lifting practices.
• Verify work orders and process sheets, enter production data, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support changeovers, equipment adjustments, simple maintenance, quality checks, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities.
• Communicate shift activities and report quality issues or machine malfunctions to the shift supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Fluency in written and verbal English, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to use measuring devices accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and good computer skills for data entry.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and safely position a 32-pound pump into an adhesive drum.
• Ability to follow ISO procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
