Coating Operator - B Team, Dayshift, 7a-7p, 2-2-3 (Manufacturing)

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA. Onsite B Team dayshift, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., on a 2-2-3 schedule, with reasonable overtime including weekends.

What you will do

• Operate one or more coating-line workstations, including unwind, die, console/winder, and quality lab areas.
• Lead machine setups and changeovers, control production cycles, and adjust equipment parameters.
• Load raw materials, unload finished products, and program production sequences to meet schedules.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, pressures, and flow ratios against production specifications.
• Perform product testing, maintain production records, and check equipment and product performance.
• Support preventive maintenance, safety, quality, continuous improvement, and team operating goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of required PPE.
• Ability to read manufacturing documents, follow operating procedures, and apply product specifications.
• Strong quality focus, communication, judgment, initiative, reliability, and teamwork.
• Proficiency with computer applications, especially ERP transactions; familiarity with MDI, standard work, and 5S processes.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Nice to have

• Two years of skilled labor experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
