Sr. Consultant, Business Analysis - Simplii Financial (AI)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week on-site at 161 Bay St.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex banking initiatives, owning scope, requirements, process insights, and outcomes.
• Translate complex business and customer needs into actionable requirements and recommendations.
• Identify process friction and lead standardization, optimization, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, technology, operations, stakeholders, and partner teams to influence decisions and deliver change.
• Create requirements, process flows, decision models, and supporting documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Lead adoption of AI-driven analysis tools and strengthen Business Analysis practices through coaching, standards, mentorship, and capability building.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, process engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional delivery in a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong business requirements gathering, process mapping, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and end-to-end testing capabilities.
• Experience with Agile methodology, continuous improvement, stakeholder partnership, and change management.
• Strong documentation, communication, leadership, systems thinking, and influencing skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with AI-enabled methods and tools.
