Student, Business Analysis (Winter 2027) (AI Automation)

Location: Toronto office with a flexible hybrid schedule; current work authorization for Canada is required

Salary: CAD 25.00–29.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support Software Delivery Life Cycle projects and scrum team deliverables within the Information Services division.
• Participate in meetings with business stakeholders and Information Services team members to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Assist with current-state and future-state documentation, impact analysis, and gap analysis.
• Collaborate with QA partners to build test cases and support User Acceptance Testing activities.
• Contribute ideas on AI automation, tooling, and other Business Analysis initiatives.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a post-secondary program such as Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Analytical thinking and strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage timelines and deliverables.
• Availability to work full time for the duration of the term.
• Current authorization to work in Canada.
• Interest in Business Analysis, technology, and process improvement; no prior work experience is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BABOK methodology and Business Analysis best practices.
• Experience with group projects, case studies, problem-solving, systems, or process mapping through coursework.
