Software Engineer II (Python/React)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; US business hours; US-based candidates required.

Salary: $153,000–$170,000 annually, plus equity.

hirify.global is a Series C healthcare price transparency platform building infrastructure for a more open and efficient healthcare marketplace.

What you will do

• Build Django-based websites and full-stack product features using Python, PostgreSQL, and related technologies.
• Develop frontend data visualization components for exploring and interpreting complex healthcare pricing data.
• Write scalable code, test and debug programs, and improve existing systems.
• Assess and prioritize feature requests in collaboration with product stakeholders.
• Work with engineering and product colleagues to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• At least 3 years of experience with Python, or strong experience in another programming language with exposure to Python.
• Proficiency with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Vue.
• Expertise with Django or another popular web framework, plus a good understanding of SQL and database efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, writing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience with Git and GitHub; a computer science, engineering, or equivalent background is preferred, including non-traditional education paths.

• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
