What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain fullstack software applications using C#/.NET and React.
• Collaborate with geneticists, bioinformaticians, and lab professionals to define system architecture and requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
• Document system architecture, processes, and workflows to ensure maintainability and traceability.
• Contribute to technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company security and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET (Core/6+), React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with MS SQL Server or similar relational databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and using Git for version control.
• Must be based in the USA (Hybrid in Houston, TX or Remote).

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, clinical diagnostics, or genomics/NGS environments.
• Familiarity with laboratory workflows or clinical reporting systems.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as CLIA, CAP, or HIPAA.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience improving performance in data-intensive applications.
