Software Engineer II (Fullstack)

Location: Fully remote in Mexico; access to the Mexico City office is optional. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Mexico without sponsorship.

What you will do

• Design and develop features for the Incident Response product.
• Build workflows that remain reliable during live emergencies, including when dependencies are slow or unavailable.
• Work across the stack with JavaScript, Next.js, React, Python, Django, and related web technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, principal engineering, and leadership teams on architectural evolution.
• Use Agile practices and tools including Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack.
• Apply AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience building scalable applications with MVC or event-driven frameworks.
• Experience with Python and JavaScript technologies, Linux-based containers, Docker or Kubernetes, and AWS or another cloud platform.
• Required experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies.
• Established practice of writing unit and integration tests.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
