Reliability Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: 100% onsite in Parlin, New Jersey; candidates must be within daily commuting distance.

What you will do

• Drive asset reliability initiatives to improve equipment uptime, maintainability, and performance.
• Develop and optimize preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Monitor OEE, MTBF, and MTTR metrics and identify chronic equipment issues through bad actor analysis.
• Lead root cause analyses for critical equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support troubleshooting and performance improvement for mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation systems.
• Support capital projects, MIQA activities, PHAs, MOCs, incident investigations, PSSRs, reliability dashboards, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, manufacturing, or Mechanical Integrity programs.
• Knowledge of RCA, FMEA, RCM, predictive maintenance technologies, and reliability methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP PM, Meridium, MaintainX, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience in petrochemical, specialty chemical, oil and gas, or other high-hazard manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of PSM, MI, QA, RAGAGEP, regulatory requirements, and process safety practices.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with Power BI or similar analytics and visualization tools.
• Experience leading reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
