Sr. Reliability Engineer – Mechanical Integrity (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve the site's Mechanical Integrity Program.
• Develop reliability strategies and risk-based maintenance plans for critical manufacturing and utility systems.
• Investigate equipment failures using Root Cause Analysis and apply RCM, FMEA, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Mechanical Integrity, PSM, RMP, pressure vessel regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
• Analyze maintenance data, downtime, equipment performance, and reliability KPIs to identify improvement and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, EHS, Quality, and corporate teams on audits, capital projects, budgets, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or highly regulated manufacturing, including at least 5 years in reliability engineering and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Mechanical Integrity programs, asset reliability, maintenance, equipment design, project engineering, and manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of pressure vessels, piping systems, rotating equipment, industrial process systems, CAD systems, and engineering software.
• Experience with RCM, FMEA, RCA, predictive and preventive maintenance, PSM, and RMP.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Ability to communicate with leadership, operators, engineers, auditors, and regulatory agencies.

Nice to have

• API 510, 570, 579, 580/581, or 653 certification.
