Principal Nurse - Occupational Health (Semiconductor)

Location: Fully onsite in Essex Junction, Vermont, United States, Monday–Friday daytime hours, with flexibility for a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Travel to other hirify.global facilities may be required.

Salary: $72,000–$126,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide occupational medical services, primary and coordinating care, health counseling, and employee education.
• Lead workers’ compensation case management for US occupational injuries and coordinate return-to-work and reasonable accommodation processes.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments, occupational health testing, medical surveillance exams, drug screening, and breath alcohol testing.
• Develop and lead wellness and health promotion programs, including foreign travel education and immunization support.
• Maintain clinical records, medical supplies, equipment, audits, reporting, and clinical laboratory services.
• Collaborate with employees, managers, healthcare providers, insurers, Human Resources, Benefits, Legal, Safety, and contracted health teams.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Nursing or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• At least 2 years of experience in case management, workers’ compensation case management, corporate healthcare, community health, occupational health, urgent care, or emergency care.
• Current Registered Nursing license in Vermont and BLS certification.
• Ability to interpret medical documentation, maintain confidentiality, set priorities, and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company-specific software.
• Ability to work a variable schedule and travel to other hirify.global sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with structured problem-solving techniques.
• Familiarity with Cority software and workers’ compensation processes.
