Registered Nurse, Occupational Health

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. Onsite work at a client Health Center. Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. Anticipated start date: February 2, 2027.

What you will do

• Provide occupational health care, evaluate and prioritize patients, administer treatments and medications, and deliver emergency care within the legal scope of practice.
• Manage physical evaluations and clinical operations in accordance with OSHA, DOT, CDC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Care for injured workers, coordinate case management with third-party administrators and clients, and support return-to-work programs.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs and participate in accident investigations and workplace safety initiatives.
• Perform and document medical tests and screenings, including EKG, audiometry, spirometry, and vision testing.
• Maintain accurate health records, medical equipment, infection-control standards, and a safe clinical environment.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an Associate degree in Nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in occupational health, emergency care, or ambulatory care.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required; ACLS may be required depending on the contract.
• Experience promoting safe and productive workplaces through hazard mitigation, health screenings and education, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and return-to-work examinations.

Nice to have

• Certification in occupational health, emergency nursing, or case management, such as COHN or COHN-S.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
