Branch Manager (Retail Banking)

Location: Pelham, New Hampshire, United States; work is performed in a branch and includes branch hours, weekends, and evenings.

Annual base pay: $60,000–$102,500 USD.

What you will do

• Direct overall branch performance, sales targets, operational processes, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop sales strategies, manage prospect and customer pipelines, and provide consultative financial solutions.
• Lead, coach, hire, retain, and develop branch colleagues while managing scheduling and employee engagement.
• Analyze branch performance data and use digital platforms to improve customer interactions and operational outcomes.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and communicate through in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Manage branch risk, compliance, loss prevention, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• At least 3 years of successful retail bank sales management or related bank operations experience, or 5 years of retail sales management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience selling products or services in an incentive-based environment.
• Proven sales leadership, relationship-building, customer service, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of company policies, compliance regulations, risk management, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings, at the Pelham location.

Nice to have

• Established work history or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
