Senior Manager, Financial Operations (SaaS)

Location: Remote in Canada; Ottawa office. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or eligible to work in Canada.

Salary: CA$130,000–CA$150,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycle, including purchase orders, vendor invoices, approvals, payment runs, expenses, and vendor dispute resolution.
• Lead the end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle, including customer invoicing, collections, cash application, credit risk support, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure accurate billing for hardware shipments and recurring SaaS subscriptions.
• Manage, coach, and develop the P2P and O2C team.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Accounting, Sales, and Legal on cash forecasting, month-end close, contracts, and billing processes.
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives while reporting operational metrics such as DSO, DPO, aging, and exception rates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of accounting or finance operations experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of P2P and O2C processes, AP/AR management, internal controls, and operational KPIs.
• Experience leading AP/AR systems or process automation projects.
• Strong ERP experience, such as NetSuite.
• Canadian citizenship or eligibility to work in Canada is required. A criminal records check is required upon hire.

Nice to have

• Experience in a hardware-enabled SaaS or hybrid hardware/software business.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency P2P/O2C operations.
• Experience with billing and collections tools.
• Experience using AI tools for invoice processing, collections prioritization, or reporting automation.
