Data Scientist, Professional Senior (AI/ML)

Salary: $108,960–$163,440 annual base pay, plus a target annual cash incentive equal to 12% of base pay.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement regression, classification, clustering, statistical, deep learning, and AI models using structured and unstructured machine-acquired data.
• Build predictive models and identify insights and foresights that support product enhancements, increased profits, and reduced losses.
• Develop software, automated machine learning solutions, analytical tools, visualizations, and data models for large multidimensional datasets.
• Partner with experimentalists, data engineers, software developers, product managers, service managers, customers, and business leaders to translate models into testable hypotheses and practical solutions.
• Evaluate data collection mechanisms, feature engineering approaches, and cloud infrastructure costs for research, staging, and pilot environments.
• Mentor less experienced data scientists and contribute to innovation summits, publications, patents, and build/buy/partner recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, deep learning, programming, and time series forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, especially Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Databricks SQL for large-scale data processing.
• Experience building and deploying end-to-end machine learning solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles, GitHub Actions, and automated deployment frameworks such as Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate technical findings to business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with Python, R, Java, TensorFlow, NLTK, scikit-learn, MLlib, Apache Spark, NoSQL databases, and graphical analysis.
• Knowledge of regression, clustering, classification, dimensionality reduction, Bayesian reasoning, boosting, random forests, supervised and unsupervised learning, and deep learning.
• Experience solving large-scale industry problems, working with cloud platforms, or supporting retail use cases.
