Data Scientist - Agentic AI / ML (AI)

Location: Santa Clara, CA; on-site full-time

Salary: $170,000–$234,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop analytical models, machine learning algorithms, and automated processes from research through production deployment.
• Build GenAI and LLM applications, including fine-tuned models, agents, reasoning workflows, embedding-based search, and RAG systems.
• Design GenAI architectures for plugin-based solutions and custom applications in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Apply data mining, machine learning, and forecasting to material demand, service parts, pattern recognition, and supply chain operations.
• Partner with planning, operations, inventory, production, engineering, and service teams to identify business drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
• Translate complex analysis into actionable insights and KPIs for business and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Advanced degree such as an MS or PhD in statistics, computer science, economics, operations research, or another quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in applied machine learning or related AI work.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI applications and understanding large language model architecture and operation.
• Experience with PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow, as well as Python, SQL, scikit-learn, and forecasting libraries.
• Experience with MLOps, including production model deployment, versioning, and performance monitoring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
