Portfolio Construction Analyst

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 base salary per year plus annual bonus target

What you will do

• Implement recommended investment strategies across client portfolios covering cash, equities, fixed income, and private investments.
• Execute equity strategy, relationship manager-directed, client-directed, specialty, and tax-related trades.
• Size trades and perform pre-trade compliance checks before sending orders to the trade execution team.
• Rebalance accounts in line with Investment Policy Statements while applying tax-efficient and prudent practices.
• Review post-trade controls, account coding, and restriction requests to ensure alignment with investment objectives.
• Act as a liaison with relationship managers and explain portfolio implementation services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in trading and/or portfolio implementation.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Availability to work from the New York City office at least three days per week.
