Virtual Design Coordinator (BIM/Revit)

Location: Columbia, South Carolina, United States. Full-time, onsite role. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Oversee and manage Building Information Modeling projects across disciplines.
• Coordinate Revit models and workflows between design-team members, clients, consultants, and external partners.
• Configure project models with project managers and participate in BIM kickoff and coordination meetings.
• Organize project folders, file sharing, and archival across disciplines and partners.
• Review models and PDF deliverables for compliance with BIM and documentation standards.
• Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, maintain models, and support Virtual Design software users.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience; 3 years preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Revit experience is required, with strong knowledge of project setup and model management.
• Ability to troubleshoot Revit and design software issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with colleagues and clients at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles used to produce technical plans and models.
• Experience supporting MEP, fire protection, education, government, or municipal projects.
