BIM Manager, Electrical

Location: Remote within the United States; US work authorization required. Conditions: Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Salary: $85,000–$125,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses.

What you will do

• Audit Revit models across active electrical projects against modeling standards and prioritize findings by risk and impact.
• Assess model and workflow performance, identify efficiency improvements, and pilot optimization strategies.
• Design and implement model-health scoring systems to track quality and technical consistency.
• Diagnose model inefficiencies and improve files, families, templates, and workflows alongside VDC Managers.
• Write, test, and document Revit API, Dynamo, and RevitPython scripts, using AI and LLM tools where effective.
• Maintain BIM standards, coach VDC Managers, and evaluate new Revit optimization techniques.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Hands-on experience with Revit API, Dynamo, RevitPython, or similar automation tools.
• Ability to conduct independent technical investigations and document actionable conclusions.
• Ability to translate technical findings into practical guidance for VDC Managers and team leads.
• Experience building tools, templates, or standards that teams adopt.
• Strong interest in technical modeling, problem-solving, automation, and AI-driven workflows.
