Software Engineer

Location: Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States; external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global location.

Salary: USD 120,000–150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and user-centric applications for next-generation platforms.
• Build full-stack solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, product, and architecture stakeholders.
• Implement fault-tolerant microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern frontend applications.
• Use SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms where appropriate to accelerate delivery.
• Write secure, performant, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed environments and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development skills in Java, Node, Python, or Go.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Knowledge of scalable microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure, Git, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to GenAI tools, SaaS platforms, and low-code/no-code tools.
• Experience with serverless technologies, event-driven architecture, or infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools including Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems or integrating enterprise platforms.
• Background in media or entertainment.
