Sr Staff Manufacturing Process Engineer (Process Owner) (Manufacturing): Leading measurement, analysis, and optimization of factory processes across assembly, integration, testing, or shipment preparation with an accent on process ownership, tooling, SOPs, and continuous improvement. Focus on root-cause analysis, SPC performance control, bottleneck reduction, automation, Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives.

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $124,500–$182,600 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

  • Own an assigned manufacturing process across assembly, integration, testing, or shipment preparation and support its interaction with overall factory flow.
  • Measure and analyze process performance, including cycle time, yield, control limits, and process excursions.
  • Investigate process interruptions, bottlenecks, recurring issues, and root causes to maintain continuous operation.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, control plans, process flow charts, value stream maps, process alerts, and issue documentation.
  • Design and implement tools, fixtures, procedures, and assembly automation improvements, including poka-yoke solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using 6S, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma, while training operators and mentoring engineering team members.

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Experience with factory simulation software, preferably FlexSim, and assembly automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards, continuous improvement methodologies, data analytics, and querying raw datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, verbal communication, and information-synthesis skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
