Manager, Legal Recruiting

Location: Remote, limited to approved markets in Florida, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Texas. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Salary: $71,000–$101,000 base salary plus performance-driven incentives

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle searches for lateral law firm partners, practice groups, General Counsel, and Deputy General Counsel roles.
• Conduct market mapping, competitive intelligence, and legal talent landscape analysis.
• Develop search strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Advise law firm leaders, corporate executives, and boards on succession planning and legal talent needs.
• Build relationships with high-performing legal leaders and provide a high-quality candidate experience.
• Maintain confidential search documentation, CRM records, tracking, and reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal or executive search experience, preferably in an agency or external search firm.
• Demonstrated success recruiting lateral law firm partners, General Counsel, or senior in-house legal leaders.
• Strong understanding of law firm economics, partner portability, lateral hiring dynamics, and corporate legal departments.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding placement goals.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, advisory, discretion, and integrity skills.
• Ability to work remotely from one of the approved U.S. markets and travel occasionally as business needs require.
