Maintenance Technician III

Location: West Caldwell, New Jersey, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $35.62–$47.67 per hour

Crane Aerospace & Electronics develops and manufactures aerospace systems and operates this role in a manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant infrastructure, utility systems, production equipment, pumps, motors, and industrial electrical systems.
• Maintain electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC, boiler, fire alarm, security, phone, and other building systems.
• Perform interior and exterior facility maintenance, including flooring, drywall, painting, parking areas, landscaping, and general building repairs.
• Coordinate with outside services, inspectors, and government officials to support compliance with applicable codes and laws.
• Maintain records and order materials, parts, and supplies; support equipment delivery, pickup, assembly, and movement as needed.
• Store and ship hazardous materials, including paints, solvents, and hazardous waste.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of related industrial maintenance experience and at least 5 years of electrical work experience.
• Training in electrical and mechanical trades and knowledge of NFPA 70: National Electrical Code.
• Proficiency reading schematics and blueprints for equipment troubleshooting.
• Completed hazardous waste management training and experience storing and shipping hazardous waste.
• High school diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work onsite in West Caldwell, New Jersey, use required PPE, lift and push up to 70 pounds, and work overtime when necessary.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Two years of Type II HVAC experience.
