Clean Utilities Specialist Technician (Biopharma)

Location: Waterford, Ireland; on-site, two-shift pattern with some on-call shifts

Salary: €48,000–€64,000 per year

What you will do

• Execute preventive and corrective work orders for critical clean water utility systems.
• Develop corrective actions addressing clean utilities compliance and safety risks.
• Identify reliability, maintainability, and HSE improvement opportunities.
• Ensure maintenance work follows HSE requirements, including permits, LOTO, and PTW support.
• Support investigations and CAPA development for unplanned utility disruptions and environmental monitoring excursions.
• Maintain utility area organization, safety, maintenance plans, procedures, and work instructions.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience operating GMP utility systems in pharmaceutical or other high-purity production environments.
• Maintenance training, certification, and practical experience.
• In-depth equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of purchasing systems and CMMS.
• Experience with GMP compliance, preventive and corrective maintenance, problem solving, and safety compliance.
