Senior Maintenance Technician - Shift Role (24/7)

Location: Dun Laoghaire, Ireland; onsite 24/7 shift role

What you will do

• Execute advanced maintenance activities on process and support equipment across production facilities.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, investigate failures, and minimize disruption to plant operations.
• Support projects, process trials, machine upgrades, testing, and the start-up of new equipment.
• Assist with commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
• Investigate deviations and non-conformances with cross-functional teams and establish corrective actions.
• Improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency through local projects and predictive-maintenance tools.

Requirements

• Recognized apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical craft.
• Combined education, training, and experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, technical manuals, electrical schematics, layout drawings, and P&IDs.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, utility, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently, communicate equipment status, and complete maintenance handovers and documentation.
• Ability to identify hazards, isolation points, and service interdependencies for LOTO activities.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, aseptic, regulated, automated manufacturing, or inspection environments.
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems and documenting maintenance work.
