Financial Controller (iGaming)

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management reports, management accounts, income statement files, and balance sheet schedules.
• Post and reconcile invoices, accruals, prepayments, foreign exchange, fixed assets, journals, and intercompany balances.
• Monitor reporting dimensions, cost allocations, provisions, litigation schedules, loan schedules, cash flow, and dividend payments.
• Coordinate collections, vendor settlements, payment packs, cash requirements, contractual records, and banking details.
• Prepare and review internal and external audit files and resolve statutory audit queries.
• Coordinate team deliverables, mentor direct reports, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance or a similar qualification.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver accurate work on time.
• Integrity, ownership, resilience, initiative, innovation, and team orientation.
• Ability to work onsite in North London, UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of sports betting markets, odds calculation, betting types, and market trends.
• Experience in online gaming or casino, including player behaviour and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with gambling compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
• Experience developing and executing customer retention strategies.
