Senior Financial Controller, EMEA (12m FTC)

What you will do

• Lead the financial control environment across EMEA legal entities and branch operations.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, statutory reporting, management reporting, and external audits.
• Manage finance-related activities for regulated entities, including regulatory reporting, capital, liquidity, dividend planning, and prudential assessments.
• Prepare analysis and materials for Boards, Audit Committees, senior management, regulators, and auditors.
• Partner with Tax, Risk, Compliance, and EMEA Finance on governance, controls, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and mentor finance professionals while driving continuous process and control improvements.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification.
• Significant post-qualification experience in asset management or broader financial services.
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, statutory reporting, and external audit expertise.
• Experience supporting regulated entities and financial governance frameworks in a complex multinational environment.
• Ability to communicate complex financial, regulatory, and business matters as clear recommendations and actionable insights.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated asset management organization.
• Knowledge of prudential regulation, capital, liquidity, and IFPR frameworks.
• Experience preparing Board and Audit Committee materials.
• Understanding of UK and European regulatory environments, transfer pricing, corporate tax, and legal entity governance.
