TL;DR
Data Governance Analyst (AI): Reviewing and improving data quality across reporting pipelines, dashboards, and governance processes with an accent on discrepancy detection, data cleansing, and stakeholder coordination. Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid, with teams in the office around four days a week

What you will do
- Provide quality assurance oversight for business processes where data is collected, stored, transformed, or used.
- Review reporting pipelines and datasets, identify discrepancies and errors, and coordinate corrections with internal and external teams.
- Deliver weekly data-quality dashboards with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Drive data cleansing, monitor improvement metrics, and resolve issues with cross-functional teams.
- Document data processes, standards, and policies while supporting Data Governance projects and BAU operations.
- Identify process and tooling improvements and promote data literacy across the business.
Requirements
- Right to work in the United Kingdom is required.
- Strong written and spoken English is required.
- Methodical problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel.
- Exposure to LLMs, especially auditing their outputs, and comfort collaborating across time zones.
Nice to have
- Degree in data science, statistics, or a STEM discipline.
- Experience with data quality, data governance, or data hygiene practices.
- Project management skills and the ability to communicate technical details to different audiences.
- Exposure to dbt, GitLab, cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS, and BI tools such as Data Studio and Looker.
