Demand Planner (CPG)

Location: Remote

Salary: $80,000–90,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Own, validate, and publish monthly demand forecasts in Anaplan for an assigned portfolio of customers and SKUs.
• Build baseline, promotional, launch, phase-out, risk, and opportunity scenarios while documenting forecast assumptions and overrides.
• Represent the portfolio in consensus planning and S&OP with Sales, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, and Supply Planning.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, inventory position, weeks of supply, fill-rate risk, and supply-demand imbalances.
• Analyze retailer, channel, internal, POS, and syndicated data to identify changes in customer order behavior.
• Support Anaplan implementation, user acceptance testing, data validation, migration from Excel, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Anaplan and experience using NetSuite for order, shipment, and inventory history.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, and large datasets.
• PowerPoint proficiency and the ability to present analysis and consensus materials to leadership.
• 3–5 years of professional supply chain experience, including 1–2 years in demand planning or an equivalent role.
• Experience owning a customer or category portfolio through a complete monthly forecast cycle.
• Knowledge of statistical forecasting, commercial overrides, ERP systems, and cross-functional communication; CPG, beverage, or manufacturing experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with NielsenIQ, Circana, SPINS, Retail Link, or Vendor Central.
• Experience with Sigma, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Experience supporting an Anaplan implementation, including testing, data validation, or migration from spreadsheets.
• Anaplan Level 1 certification or equivalent training.
• Exposure to annual operating plans, budgeting, or Finance planning cycles.
