Senior Manager, Test Engineering (Automated Test Equipment)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of test engineers, technicians, and support personnel.
• Direct test engineering activities supporting manufacturing operations and new product introductions.
• Oversee the design, development, validation, deployment, maintenance, calibration, and lifecycle management of automated test equipment.
• Improve test coverage, reliability, throughput, manufacturing yield, equipment uptime, and operational efficiency.
• Develop long-term test technology strategies, evaluate Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics applications.
• Manage budgets, capital projects, suppliers, and cross-functional initiatives from concept through deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive test engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting automated test equipment in high-volume manufacturing and new product introduction environments.
• Knowledge of automated test systems, instrumentation, controls, data acquisition, calibration, metrology, Design for Test, statistical process control, and manufacturing quality systems.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the role.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience with manufacturing data analytics and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
