Virtual Primary Care Physician (Telehealth)

Location: Remote within the United States, with multiple state medical licenses required. The role includes scheduled weekday shifts, weekend coverage at least every eighth weekend, and one evening shift until 7:00 p.m. in the clinician's time zone at least every four weeks.

What you will do

• Provide virtual primary care through video visits, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.
• Manage an independent patient panel across acute, chronic, and preventive care needs.
• Collaborate with Care and Case Management teams to create care plans and support patient outcomes.
• Work with the Credentialing Team to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Maintain patient satisfaction and quality metrics through evidence-based medicine and compassionate care.
• Use telehealth and electronic health platforms while managing high patient volumes and multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Completion of a 3–4-year Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds residency or equivalent.
• Active medical license and board certification in Family Medicine through ABMS or AOA.
• At least 3 years of post-residency primary care experience managing an independent patient panel.
• Multiple state licenses and eligibility for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact participation are required.
• Active Medicare status, eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid participation, and no sanctions or exclusions.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan, supervise NPs and/or PAs, maintain a secure private home office, and comply with HIPAA requirements.
