Line Lead 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States; onsite, 1st shift Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Lead and motivate a production-line team to achieve quality, cost, accuracy, and speed targets.
• Arrange daily activities to maintain smooth workflow, quality production, and timely delivery.
• Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes, machinery, work layouts, and standard work practices.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Project staffing needs and support inventory, packaging, shipping, receiving, and facility maintenance activities.
• Mentor line staff, facilitate problem solving, and conduct safety or training programs as needed.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of manufacturing experience and people leadership experience.
• Strong leadership capability and manufacturing knowledge.
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and technical drawings.
• General computer skills, including email and Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a production environment, regularly lift up to 50 pounds, and stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
