Team Lead II (Weld/Fab)

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing employees across welding, fabrication, and related production processes.
• Assign work and instruct operators on work techniques, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Coordinate materials, tools, fixtures, and direct labor to maintain efficient workflow and on-time completion.
• Audit work and production processes to ensure quality requirements are met before products leave the department.
• Analyze material, process, and product issues that may disrupt production and report findings.
• Communicate drawing and bill-of-material discrepancies to Engineering and complete production and quality documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics and explain them to others.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP experience is desirable.
• Ability to understand and apply corrective and preventive action procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to supervise and coordinate work across diverse tasks and demanding schedules.
• Ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and bending, and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance.
