Contract Negotiator (Healthcare)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; Mississippi is the ideal location. Central Time business hours are required, with up to 10% travel in Mississippi.

Salary: $56,200–$101,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate and negotiate hospital, physician, and ancillary service agreements.
• Recruit and develop provider networks for assigned regions and provider groups.
• Identify prospective providers, initiate outreach, and lead contract negotiations.
• Ensure negotiated agreements meet unit cost targets, company objectives, and applicable state reimbursement standards.
• Oversee provider setup and contract configuration to support accurate claims adjudication.
• Monitor provider performance, financial results, credentialing activities, focus groups, and contract compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in contracting, provider relations, or a related area, preferably in healthcare, managed care, or insurance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must work remotely from the United States and be available during Central Time business hours.
• Ability to travel up to 10% in Mississippi.
