Senior Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii

Salary: $80,000–$91,200 per year in starting total cash, with equity offered and no bonus

What you will do

• Scope credentialing and enrollment requirements for new payer implementations.
• Submit accurate provider enrollment applications and support timely credentialing.
• Guide providers through each stage of the credentialing and enrollment process.
• Collaborate with Account Delivery, Provider Success, and other cross-functional teams during payer launches.
• Develop, document, and optimize operational processes into clear guidance.
• Educate and support credentialing and enrollment associates as new processes and payers are introduced.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare, working with or for health insurance plans, networks, or credentialing verification organizations.
• 2+ years of experience enrolling providers with regional or national payers.
• Experience collaborating across teams, including Account Delivery or Provider Success.
• Experience developing and documenting clear, optimized processes.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and CRM or ticketing platforms such as Salesforce and Zendesk.
• Must be based in the United States; Hawaii is currently excluded.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-paced startup or large healthcare system.
• Behavioral health payer enrollment experience.
• Familiarity with CAQH, NPPES, CMS, and NCQA requirements.
• Experience working with a Credentials Verification Organization.
