Global Platform Engineer – Sales CPQ PRO AMP (AI)

Salary: $137,000–$236,325 base pay annually

What you will do

• Define the target architecture and multi-year technical roadmap for the global Butterfly CXM platform covering Sales, CPQ, and PR&O.
• Lead reusable APIs, services, integration patterns, SDKs, frameworks, developer tooling, and governed Microsoft Dynamics configuration patterns.
• Design AI and agent capabilities using orchestration, tool calling, context management, retrieval-augmented generation, human oversight, and evaluation.
• Establish engineering standards, security and reliability guardrails, observability practices, and release-management patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews, resolve cross-team dependencies, and provide technical direction to engineers, contractors, systems integrators, and technology partners.
• Coach technical leads and communicate architecture decisions, risks, trade-offs, and investment needs to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise-scale products, platforms, or distributed systems.
• 7+ years as a lead architect, principal engineer, platform engineer, or engineering leader accountable for architecture and technical strategy.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, extensibility, integration, data models, security, release management, and operations.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Copilot, and Copilot Studio.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, Kubernetes, automated testing, and platform observability.
• Production experience with AI solutions, including LLM integration, agent orchestration, RAG, tool calling, evaluation, security, and governance.

Nice to have

• Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Experience integrating Microsoft platforms with enterprise services across Azure and AWS.
• Experience building enterprise agent platforms, internal developer platforms, reusable SDKs, or shared engineering services.
• Experience managing systems integrators and strategic technology partners.
