Enterprise AI Systems Engineer

Location: Austin, Dallas, San Francisco, or Washington, DC, United States. US work authorization is required.

Salary: $126,000–$157,000, $141,000–$176,000, $150,000–$187,000, or $165,000–$206,000 USD annually, depending on location tier.

What you will do

• Administer enterprise Claude, Gemini, OpenRouter, Cursor, and NotebookLM tenants, including provisioning, roles, configuration, and security settings.
• Build prompts, skills, projects, connectors, documentation, and adoption programs for more than 250 users.
• Operate MCP servers, gateways, and an LLM gateway for routing, authentication, rate limiting, logging, and policy enforcement.
• Build agentic workflows and internal automations with evaluations and guardrails.
• Architect and run AI workloads on AWS and GCP, including IAM, networking, secrets management, Bedrock, and Vertex AI.
• Own Python and TypeScript code, CI/CD pipelines, telemetry, cost reporting, runbooks, and AI data-governance standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software, cloud, or platform engineering experience, including recent hands-on work with LLM-based systems.
• Experience administering enterprise SaaS or AI tenants at scale, including access management, configuration, cost control, and adoption.
• Working knowledge of commercial and open-weight LLMs, prompt engineering, evaluation, retrieval, and agentic patterns.
• Hands-on experience with MCP, LLM gateways, API integration, or middleware, plus AWS and GCP architecture.
• Strong Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience with version control, testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Vertex AI, Amazon Bedrock, self-hosted open-weight model deployment, vector databases, RAG pipelines, Splunk or another SIEM, and cloud cost management experience.
