Plant Operator (Industrial Gases)

Location: Evansville, Indiana, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with flexibility for shifts and occasional extra hours.

What you will do

• Operate and care for production equipment, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts.
• Fill, transport, inspect, and perform quality checks on industrial gas cylinders.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and contribute to maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activity.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in team meetings and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, industrial gases, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to safety protocols.

Nice to have

• Technical certification in industrial operations.
• Previous industrial gas experience.
