Mechanic I (Hydraulics and Electrical)

What you will do

• Perform basic repairs, calibration, maintenance, and activity-based service work on equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and direct or assist Assemblers with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Install accessories including decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Follow work instructions and maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Use multimeters, pressure testers, analyzers, computers, iPads, and laptops to diagnose equipment and record findings.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and learn to operate a forklift.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of basic experience with hydraulics, electrical, gas, and diesel systems.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic knowledge of DC electricity, hydraulics, and technical prints.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable in-person attendance at the Hiram, Georgia site and willingness to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, holidays, or up to 7 days per week.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, work in low positions, lift permitted weights, and work safely in a production environment.
