Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing)

Location: Piqua, Ohio; on-site support for the Third Street and Covington facilities. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Crane Pumps & Systems designs and manufactures pump solutions for the transportation of wastewater.

What you will do

• Respond to equipment issues and minimize production downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, repairs, and post-repair performance testing.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment, machinery, facility systems, wiring, conduit, and electrical components.
• Support facility improvement projects, equipment moves, infrastructure upgrades, and future factory initiatives.
• Use lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machine tools to fabricate or repair parts while collaborating on continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Three to six years of industrial maintenance or related technical experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Basic math and measurement skills; ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems.
• Welding, fabrication, machining, or industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting facility expansion or equipment relocation projects.
